DORNE'S FINEST
orylon's company
All the below are more a set of guidelines than anything else. A great deal of these characters are open
to however you wish to write them or whomever you wish to cast as their face claims!
Any major divergence from the below however should be run by me first just to be
certain, please.
The Royal Guard:
orylon's company
All the below are more a set of guidelines than anything else. A great deal of these characters are open
to however you wish to write them or whomever you wish to cast as their face claims!
Any major divergence from the below however should be run by me first just to be
certain, please.
The Royal Guard:
Garryn Dayne, Aged 30
PB: Liam Mcintyre
The Prince of Dorne's Personal Bodyguard
Everything about Garryn is pretty much open. He's the only royal bodyguard of the Prince of Dorne
and serves as one of the finest and most capable swordsman in Sunspear. He had been noted as
being one of Oberyn Martell's sparring partners prior to his death.
Upon Orylon's return from Braavos, Garryn has been a fierce lover to the Prince - however -
the relationship operates in secret to ensure none are privy to their closeness in the face of duty.
The Advisors Two:
Myria Jordayne, Aged 31
PB: Natalie Portman
Advisor of The Prince of Dorne
Little is known of Myria Jordayne. She was one of the individuals whom accompanied
Oberyn Martell to King's Landing when he visited to accept his seat on the Small Council.
As a result of her travels and her ability to commune with a wide array of different folk,
she's been noted to be an exceptionally talented wordsmith.
She is a close friend and respected advisor of Orylon.
The rest is up to her player!
PB: Idris Alba
Warrior Advisor of The Prince of Dorne
Lyle Yronwood has been a member of Sunspear's royal collection of servants
since Doran Martell's rule began. He served first as a member of the military;
earning his place as the trainer of some of Dorne's finest combatants.
However, once his skills with words were discovered - as well as his exceptional
tactical prowess - Lyle was appointed the Advisor of War and has held the position
for as long as he can remember.
Whilst he still more than holds his own in combat - as a result of his age
and his value as an advisor, he sees combat less often which has left him
somewhat more rusty than usual.
He is perhaps the most outspoken of Orylon's company, but his opinions are
greatly valued; particularly because he does not shy away from announcing the truth
harshly when the time calls for it.
He is renowned and well known for his large two-handed sword which he named
'Saving Grace'.
The Three-Hundred Strong Army:
These characters are some more crucial characters who make up the general ranks of the
Dorneish Army standing alongside the Targaryen bloodline in Westeros.
Fandir Sand, Aged 32
PB: Daniel Feuerriegel
Bastard of Dorne, Soldier
Fandir is one of the soldiers serving in the army which Orylon took to help
in the battle against the White Walkers. He's a bastard son of a member of House
Jordayne and as such has ties to Myria. Whilst he is loyal beyond measure to the current
Prince of Dorne, Fandir turned a blind eye to information he obtained about the coo
staged by the Sand Snakes and as such, due to his lack of action - played a role in the
assassination of Doran Martell. He has shared such information with no one -- however
guilt has begun to take its toll on him.
Ser Byad Qorgyle, Aged 35
PB: Howard Charles
Captain of Dorne, Knight
A respected member of House Qorgyle, Ser Byad served as a Captain of Dorne
even during Doran Martell's rule. He was a good friend to the former Prince and
posed as a major force in attempting to overthrow the Sand Snakes in their time of
power; leading to his capture and imprisonment during their reign.
He was freed by Orylon Martell when the newly crowned Prince of Dorne
seized control and his position as Captain of Dorne was reinstated.
He and Garryn Dayne were former lovers during their service alongside one another
in battle. These affections however were not fuelled by love, but rather for mutual
sexual gain. They remained good friends and tend to seek guidance in one another.
Adynna Yronwood, Aged 28
PB: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
Lady of House Yronwood, Warrior & Healer
Adynna Yronwood is a member of House Yronwood who dedicated a great deal
of her life to the practice of medicine and healing; creating ailments and potions from
a wide array of plants, herbs and the like to assist those in need on the battlefield.
As a result of her intensive training as a warrior, Adynna poses as an exceptional
combatant - making her a phenomenal healer even on the field of battle.
She is distantly related to Lyle Yronwood.
She once saved a Sand Snake when they clumsily poisoned themselves.
