SER JAIME LANNISTER

43 - KNIGHT - CURRENTLY IN: WINTERFELL

Ser Jaime Lannister is best known to many as the Kingslayer. They call him a man without honor because he killed the king he was sworn to protect. Never mind the fact that said king wanted to burn all of King's Landing to the ground and asked Jaime to kill his father. He says he isn't bothered by that nickname but that isn't completely true. He is a skilled fighter, learning to wield a sword with his left hand after his right was cut off. He knows he will likely never be able to make up all of the less than morally right things he has done in the past but he is trying his hardest to be better. Right now, in the war going on, he is sided with the living. It is why he came to Winterfell, despite Cersei having no intention of honoring her pledge to send the Lannister forces North. If the dead are defeated, things become more difficult for him, as Daenerys is not his queen but running back to his sister doesn't seem like quite the best option either. 

Friends: Well, he is currently somewhere where his only friend is Tyrion. It isn't impossible that others may learn to tolerate him but I'm sure most of them will never 100% trust him. 

Enemies: As far as he is concerned, the Night King and his army of the dead are his only enemies at the moment. I'm sure a lot of others feel otherwise, and I'm sure he'll feel otherwise too when the winter is over. 

Lovers: Cersei is the only woman he has ever slept with. Despite recent events there, he still loves her. He has opened up to Brienne a lot in the past few years but I'm not looking for anything to happen there.

JAIME LANNISTER & Jon

Here comes the fun xD First of, while I have seen most of S7, at least where it pertains to the North/Jon, the details are fuzzy, so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. 

Second, I think that, once upon a time, on sort of looked up to Jaime, this golden knight who was reportedly the best swordsman in the Seven Kingdoms. That is not the Jaime he can see nowadays, though, which is where the fun comes in. 

For years Jaime's been branded as the Kingslayer, and we all know Jon was raised in house Stark, which might as well have some quote about Honor Above All instead of Winter is Coming. Which makes it all the more interesting that to, well, everyone not  at the Wall, he's likely also seen as an oathbreaker. I think, in an ideal world, where Jon was raised as Rhaegar's son, without a war then, without Mad King Aerys, without Rhaegar shunning Elia, Jaime might've ended up some sort of friend/mentor of Jon's. Lot of might's, though. 

Now, though, depending on who you ask, Jon's either King in the North or Warden of the North (yeah, another kneeler xD) and though a commander of the army, he's also one of them. He's managed to bring the Free Folk into the fold, he's got experience fighting the dead... If they haven't met yet, they soon should. 

Jon's current stance on enemies knocking on his door willing to fight on their side is basically 'well, if you can swing a sword we can use you, we're arming ten year old boys and women' and if everyone survives, he may considers trials or forgiveness or whatever. Though a player now, he's not playing the game, he's just busy with survival. For all, if he can help it. Did Jaime bring a Valyrian steel sword, or just a regular one? I think he's got Widow's Wail still, at this moment? 

Because if he does, they should spar at some point. It might be worthwhile for Jon to know if the one-handed knight can be of use with a sword that can actually kill White Walkers, after all, plus it's half of his Father's Uncle's sword Ice, so yay emotional moment. 

Basically I babbled a whole lot just to say I want a thread in which they can verbally spar a bit, maybe physically too xD

ALSO, I forgot this before - Jaime knew Rhaegar, I think? Served in the Kingsguard already while Rhaegar was still alive? At some point Jon may try to subtly ask after the silver prince (aka his father, but he's not ready to part with that freshly discovered truth just yet), to learn more. All he's ever heard is how he kidnapped and raped his mother, which apparently isn't quite true, so what else is or is not true?

Tyrion & Jaime

Tyrion is glad that his brother chose to ride North, even if revealing that Cersei’s army isn’t coming put him in a bit of hot water with his Queen. On top of never having doubted Jaime’s honor, Tyrion sees this as an opportunity for Jaime to make a good impression on the Queen and the North, giving him merit to argue for his brother’s pardoning and even getting to remain in a good position after Dany wins, regardless of how things turn out for their beloved sister. Jaime has always been there to protect him and Tyrion imagines that it’ll be his turn to protect Jaime… assuming they survive the fight against the dead. Which is, granted, not the most likely scenario at this point. I imagine there will be much drinking and jokes about their imminent demise.
